Join us for The Remembrance Mile, a one-mile community walk marking the final leg of The Great American Relay. Together, we will take the closing steps of a journey that began at Flight 93 National Memorial, honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and those whose lives were forever changed.
This noncompetitive walk welcomes families, students, veterans, first responders, and community members to participate at their own pace. You don’t need to have traveled the relay’s entire route to be part of its finish—every person brings meaning to this final mile.
As we approach the World Trade Center, we will carry forward the memories, stories, and spirit of the communities connected along the way. Each step is a tribute to those we lost, a thank-you to those who serve, and a shared commitment to supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Walk in remembrance. Finish together. Carry their legacy forward.
