Join us for The Unity Mile, a one-mile community walk as part of The Great American Relay. Set against the backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial, this special leg brings people together to honor the spirit of unity, service, and resilience that carried our nation through the days following September 11, 2001.
This noncompetitive walk welcomes families, students, veterans, first responders, and community members to participate at their own pace. You don’t need to be a runner—just a willingness to walk alongside others in remembrance and shared purpose.
As the relay continues from Flight 93 National Memorial toward the World Trade Center, The Unity Mile reminds us that every person has a place in this journey. Together, we will remember those we lost, honor those who serve, and support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Walk together. Stand united. Carry their legacy forward.
